In 2020, one by one, the scientific events in all areas of knowledge scheduled to take place, on a personal-attendance basis, were gradually cancelled, although most of them were virtually rescheduled, this situation forced a quick adaptation regarding how this type of events should be held.
While virtuality offers advantages such as simplicity and ease of access, time availability for the contents presented, we are probably witnessing the beginning of a new era regarding how these scientific events will be held.
The impact on medical education, collaborative work and the generation of networks and how has been our capacity for adapting to this scenario, are some of the issues that we will discuss in this episode of a coffee for rheumatology.
